iDiary 234: The August Meeting Side Chick and The Pre-Show Meltdown!

My close friends and family know that confrontations make me physically ill and can cause an emotional breakdown. I think my co-host on my show August Meeting with Uwanma on 92.3 Inspiration FM, Valentine Ohu has now joined those with that knowledge about me.  He walked in about 30 minutes to showtime, looked at my face and asked what was wrong. Two minutes to the show, he was still hugging me and trying to get me to stop crying. What happened? I had a bit of an argument with a “friend” on Whatsapp and it completely unsettled me. Much as I was tempted to have him run the show himself, I’ve never been one to shirk my responsibilities so I (wo)manned up and had a great show. It helped that the topic was a fun and engaging one: “Why do women become side chicks?”     We had men with side chicks and women who were side chicks call into the show!
